How much does a trademark cost in India?

The short answer

Total cost = official fees (charged per class, with lower rates for individuals, startups and small enterprises than for companies) + professional fees for search, drafting and prosecution. The real budget driver is what happens after filing — objections and oppositions add cost.

Official filing fees are public and charged per application per class; individuals, registered startups and small enterprises pay roughly half of what larger companies pay. Professional fees vary with the work: clearance searching, specification drafting, responding to examination reports and oppositions.

What actually moves the number

Ask for the total pathway cost in writing before you start — scoped, not hourly. That is how we quote.
